ColorForge sets no cookies
Every ColorForge tool — palette generator, color picker, gradient generator, accessibility checker, image color extractor — runs entirely client-side. We don't use cookies for authentication, sessions, or tracking, because there's nothing on our end to authenticate or track: nothing you enter into a tool is ever sent to our servers.
What we store in your browser (not cookies)
These use localStorage, a browser storage mechanism distinct from cookies — it's never sent to any server, ours or anyone else's, and only your browser can read it.

What Google AdSense may store (only with your consent)
If we've enabled ads and you accept advertising cookies via the consent banner, Google may set cookies for ad delivery, measurement, and — if you don't opt out — personalization. We don't control which specific cookies Google sets or their exact lifetimes; Google's own disclosures are the authoritative source:

Until you accept, these are blocked by default via Google Consent Mode — see our Advertising Disclosure.
What Google Analytics may store (only with your consent)
We use Google Analytics (GA4) to measure aggregate site usage — which pages and tools get visited, in the aggregate, not individually identifying information. If you accept analytics cookies via the consent banner, Google may set cookies to distinguish visitors and sessions. As with advertising cookies, these are blocked by default until you consent, via the same Google Consent Mode mechanism, and Google's own disclosures govern exactly what's stored:
Managing your choice
Change or withdraw your consent at any time on Cookie Preferences — no need to clear your browser or contact us. You can also block all cookies at the browser level (Settings → Privacy) or use a browser extension, though this may affect ad-supported sites generally, not just this one.
