Building an accessible color platform is core to what we do, not an afterthought.

Our commitment
ColorForge aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. This isn't incidental — one of our own tools is an accessibility/contrast checker, so we hold the site itself to the same standard we help others meet.
What we've built in
- Semantic landmarks and headings throughout, plus a "Skip to main content" link on every page.
- Full keyboard operability: every tool, menu, and dialog is reachable and usable without a mouse, with visible focus states.
- Color is never the only signal — interactive states pair color with icons, text, or shape.
- Accessible names and ARIA attributes on icon-only controls, form fields, and dynamic content (e.g. copy-to-clipboard confirmations).
- Respect for reduced-motion preferences on animated elements (e.g. the gradient preview).
- Text and interface contrast checked against WCAG AA thresholds using the same math as our own contrast checker.
Known limitations
Accessibility is an ongoing effort. Some tools involve inherently visual tasks (picking a color from an image, judging a gradient) that can't be made fully non-visual — where possible, we pair these with numeric/text equivalents (hex values, contrast ratios) so the same information is available non-visually.

If you encounter an accessibility barrier anywhere on ColorForge, please tell us — include the page URL, the tool involved, and, if you can, your browser and any assistive technology in use. Email support@airesol.net.pk. We treat accessibility reports as bugs, not feature requests, and prioritize them accordingly.
