About Us
Why ColorForge exists, and how it's built.
What we're building
ColorForge is a professional color platform for designers and developers: palettes, contrast checking, format conversion, gradients, and accessible color scales — all in one place. We built ColorForge because good color tooling is usually scattered across a dozen single-purpose sites — one for contrast checking, another for palette generation, another for format conversion — each with its own ads, its own slow load, and its own inconsistent results. ColorForge puts the tools a designer or developer actually reaches for in one place, built to a consistent standard.
How the tools work
Every tool — palette generator, color picker, gradient generator, accessibility checker, image color extractor, format converter — runs entirely in your browser. The color math (conversions, distance, harmony, WCAG contrast) is implemented from published specifications and unit tested, not approximated. Nothing you enter is uploaded to a server: not a hex code, not an image, not a palette.
Who's behind it
ColorForge is a project of Aire Solutions, based in Office# 23, Lane# 1, Garden Vista Colony, Dollian, Wah Cantt, Punjab, Pakistan. It isn't affiliated with any design tool vendor, color standards body, or Google. See our Contact page to get in touch.
How the site sustains itself
ColorForge is free to use, with no account or paywall. The site is supported by display advertising (Google AdSense) — see our Advertising Disclosure for how that works and what it means for your data.
